Meet Our Team

I come from a family of accountants, and when I took my first bookkeeping course in Grade 10, I thought it was magical.  Bookkeeping and accounting have been part of my life ever since.

I have diverse experience in many different industries.  I am an excel guru. I am a teacher. I am a helper.  I mix all of these together to give my clients a customized experience to help them understand their numbers and relieve their stress and anxiety.

I grew up in a small farming community surrounded by family and neighbours who knew the value of hard work and integrity. My mother and grandmothers were 3 of the hardest working women I have ever known. My father owned his own trucking company and managed a farm where I spent the first 18 years of my life. I remember sitting in his office helping him do the books with a calculator and a pile of receipts. I felt so grown up and now as a real grown up I haven’t ventured far from those early years. I am running my own business now and still helping others with their books. And loving it!

I have lived in the East Kootenays for almost 15 years. After my 4th child was born in 2008, I started my first company with very humble beginnings. A year later, an unexpected business opportunity presented itself and I registered a second company, which I still operate today. 

I am very excited to be part of Jennifer’s team and share our mutual love of helping others; in whatever capacity you are looking for. There is no better teacher than experience and the past 10 years has taught me much about running a business. I look forward to putting my knowledge, and at times, hard learned lessons to work for you.
